By the end of 2025, three Ansat helicopters with domestic VK-650V engines will be assembled in Russia. Two new power plants have already been installed on a prototype aircraft.
The take-off weight of the Ansat is 3.6 tons, it can carry 7 people on board, is 13.5 meters long and has 2 VK-650V engines. The helicopter is part of the model range of the Kazan Helicopter Plant.
The import-substituted Ansat will increase its flight range from 505 km to 660 km, will receive new avionics, autopilot, and an upgraded heating and ventilation system. Also, the updated Ansat has been equipped with domestic LED lighting equipment.
Earlier, Rostec refuted rumors on the Web about the suspension of operation of Ansat helicopters, stating that there are no objective reasons for this.
