The new Russian four-seater training aircraft Tango will have a maximum takeoff weight of about 1.2 tons. The novelty will be of interest to the small aviation sector and private buyers.
The aircraft will accommodate 4 people and fly at speeds up to 245 km/h with a maximum range of up to 1100 km. Flight altitude is up to 4 km, the declared takeoff/landing distance is 500/600 meters.
The design and development of the new aircraft is being carried out by the Russian company Spectra aircraft (Moscow).
Experts believe that in 2026-2026, the new machine and the APD-520 engine for it should pass all the necessary tests. Accordingly, serial production can be expected in 2027.
