5.6 mm Caliber Ammunition Delivered to Moscow Olympic Reserve School

The Central Research Institute for Precision Machine Engineering (JSC "TsNIITOCHMASH", part of the "Kalashnikov" concern) has shipped a batch of 5.6 mm (.22LR) "Olimp-BI" cartridges to one of the Moscow Olympic reserve schools, where future biathletes train.

"Olimp-BI"

The "Olimp-BI" cartridges are distinguished by stable grouping, high accuracy, power, and low recoil. Careful precision weighing of the powder and manufacturing of the case prevent the possibility of the case bursting, and the use of a high-quality primer eliminates misfires.

With an optimal bullet weight ratio of 2.7 g and an initial velocity of 315 m/s, its wind resistance is significantly increased while maintaining maximum shooting accuracy.

Thanks to these properties, the "Olimp-BI" cartridges are highly valued by biathletes: their main customers are the Russian Biathlon Union, shooting federations, sports schools and clubs.
