Российский спутник «Бион-М2» выяснит истинное происхождение жизни на Земле

Аппарат запустят на полярную орбиту на высоте около 400 км

The launch of the "Bion-M2" spacecraft with animals on board is scheduled for July 2025. The satellite will be placed into a polar orbit for 30 days, during which scientists will implement 22 scientific programs.

The spacecraft will be launched to an altitude of about 400 km into a polar orbit passing over the Earth's poles. The Russian Orbital Station will fly along approximately the same trajectory in the future.

With the help of "Bion-M2", scientists will study what dangers await astronauts in these areas of space and how to prevent negative impacts.

The research will help determine the depth at which to build stations on the Moon to protect people from the flow of secondary neurons and galactic particles. A separate experiment will be devoted to the possibility of replacing nutrition with liquid drinks with a gel composition during long space travels.

Scientists will also place live bacterial cultures on a special basalt plate on the outside of the spacecraft. This device will simulate a meteorite. The experiment will help researchers refute or confirm the theory of the origin of life on Earth from space.
