Раскрыто число зарегистрированных Aurus в России: мечты продавать по 5000 штук в год разбились о реальность

Only 14% of Aurus Owners Are Individuals

In Russia, only 357 luxury cars of the Aurus brand have been registered. This was reported by Sergey Tselikov, director of the analytical agency "Autostat."

Aurus Senat

According to him, the first car was registered at the end of 2019. In 2020, seven Aurus cars were registered, in 2021 — 22, in 2022 — 31, in 2023 — 86, in 2024 — 118, and in the first quarter of 2025 — another 92. The total number of cars registered is 357.

The majority of Aurus cars are Senat sedans (289 units), followed by Komendant crossovers (50), Arsenal minivans (16), and Lafet station wagons (2).

At the same time, convertibles are not counted separately in the statistics: these cars are included in the total mass of Senat. Autostat's data should not be considered exhaustive: the Aurus debuted in May 2018, and the first car appeared in the statistics a year and a half later.

According to Autostat, only 14% of Aurus car buyers are individuals. The rest are numerous legal entities, including government agencies. Contrary to popular belief, Autostat's data includes cars of the Federal Security Service, but the special service does not immediately register its transport with the traffic police.

According to Autostat's calculations, 69 Aurus cars have been resold on the secondary market in the last three years, including 31 sedans last year. However, the reality is very far from the initial plans to sell five thousand Aurus cars a year, and the circulation is significantly less than that of any foreign luxury brand.
