A batch of the latest Malva self-propelled artillery units (SPGs) has been sent to the Russian military. Footage of the train with combat systems has appeared online.
The photos were published by the military blogger "Voevoda announces". According to him, the photo is about a month and a half old, but it has only now seen the light. It is not specified where exactly the train with self-propelled guns was spotted.
2S43 Malva is a complex on the chassis of a BAZ-6910-027 Voshchina vehicle. It is equipped with a 2A64 152 mm rifled howitzer. The developers abandoned the turret, making the SPG lighter. It can be transferred to the place of operation by Il-7 military transport aircraft.
Malva is capable of firing updated Krasnopol-M2 rocket-assisted projectiles at a distance of up to 37-40 km.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the silent Eleron-7 reconnaissance drone with a high-definition camera has been delivered to the military
