Instructors of the training center of the Leningrad Military District (LenVO) have completed the additional training program for crews of T-90M "Proryv" tanks in the Leningrad Region. It became known how the modernized combat vehicle differs from the basic version of the T-90A.
The modernized T-90M differs from the T-90A in its turret module with multi-layer armor and a new 2A82-1M gun.
The tank also received an automated fire control system "Kalina" and a diesel engine with a capacity of 1130 horsepower. The protection of the vehicles is provided by "Relikt" dynamic protection.
Tankers have mastered modern experience in conducting military operations in conditions as close as possible to combat conditions at the training ground. The training program includes classes on the individual performance of combat tasks, as well as in the composition of a platoon and company.
