The crew of the diesel-electric submarine (DESL) "Ufa" of project 636.3 code "Varshavyanka" of the Pacific Fleet (TOF) performed a deep-sea dive to the maximum depth in the Sea of Japan.
As part of the combat training activities during the dive, the crew checked the operation of all mechanisms and systems of the submarine, and worked out the algorithm of actions when controlling the ship at great depths.
After successfully completing the underwater part of the exercise, the crew of the "Ufa" submarine returned to the surface position and continued to carry out activities in accordance with the fleet's combat training plan.
The rescue vessel "Igor Belousov" also provided support for the completion of the training task.
