In December 2024, an airworthiness certificate was issued for aircraft created by JSC "Concern Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant".
This refers to a self-developed aircraft — the MAI-411 "Alpha-KM", a multi-purpose four-seater twin-engine aircraft made of composite materials.
The same certificate was received for the AP-55 multi-purpose five-seater helicopter.
The MAI-411 aircraft developed by the Dagestan plant has been equipped with some innovations. In particular, it uses injection engines and incorporates an autopilot.
The aircraft runs on 95-octane gasoline with an approximate consumption of 25-30 liters per flight hour, allowing it to fly up to 1,600 km on a single tank.
Earlier, Rostec reported that the MS-21 airliner was given the task of competing with Boeing and Airbus.
