Information that the Ansat helicopter fleet is threatened with a halt in operation is not true. This was stated in the press service of Rostec.
The state corporation noted that rotorcraft of this type continue to be operated, maintained, and perform tasks, including the transportation of patients and passengers for sanitary evacuation. Therefore, there are no objective reasons to stop Ansat flights.
It should be noted that there have been systematic attacks on the Russian aircraft industry recently. This activity is malicious and aimed at discrediting the domestic aviation industry, which is overcoming sanctions challenges. We perceive the information attack on the Ansat program as part of this campaign.
Rostec added that Ansat is used by several Russian operators. For example, helicopters make up half of the fleet of the National Sanitary Aviation Service. Ansats are operated with high intensity and since 2018 have helped save more than 42,000 people in 54 regions of Russia.
