Soviet "Hyacinth-S" and "Msta-B" Spotted at Artillery Drills in Belarus

Belarusian servicemen use Russian high-precision Krasnopol ammunition

Servicemen of the 231st Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Belarus used Soviet 2S5 "Hyacinth-S" self-propelled guns and 2A65 "Msta-B" towed howitzers in exercises. The maneuvers took place at the 227th combined arms training ground "Borisovsky". This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.

The artillerymen hit targets with high-explosive fragmentation projectiles from 152-mm 2A65 "Msta-B" towed howitzers at a range of up to 9 km. Servicemen also used high-precision Krasnopol ammunition at a range of more than 14 km.

A control exercise on special training with a battery of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) took place at the training ground. Missilemen destroyed targets at a distance of up to 16 km. Servicemen used drones for targeting and fire adjustment.
