Headlights from the premium Aurus Komendant SUV were discovered at an auto dismantling service in Moscow. The parts likely belong to one of the pre-production prototypes that was disassembled for the sale of components. Each headlight is priced at 100,000 rubles, according to insiders.
The headlight manufacturer is the Italian company Triom from Turin. Cooperation between Russian automakers and Italian firms began back in the 1970s, when Soviet factories began developing joint projects with European partners.
Aurus Komendant is a luxury SUV created for VIP clients and officials. The model was introduced in 2022, and this week the first used Aurus Komendant was put up for sale — a 2023 model.
