Военные начали уничтожать дроны-камикадзе боевыми лазерами: у «Бабы-Яги» и «Лютого» не останется шансов

Мощность лазерной установки может варьироваться от 10 до 30 кВт

Russian military personnel have begun using mobile laser-beam systems to intercept kamikaze drones, including heavy hexacopters like the "Baba Yaga." This was reported by military expert Evgeny Damantsev.

Small-sized X-band radar stations of the "Repeinik" family are used as a key all-weather means of detection and targeting, as well as X- or Ka-band circular-scan radar stations on a telescopic mast device 5-7 meters high.

The "Lyutyi" series UAVs with a reflecting surface of about 0.5 sq. m are detected at a distance of 5-7.5 km, "Baba Yaga" copters - up to 2.5 - 3 km, FPV drones - less than 1.5 km.

The power of the laser installation can vary from 10 to 30 kW, which is enough to overcome 2-5 mm steel sheets at a distance of up to 1000 m. Heavy copters of the "Baba Yaga" type can be disabled at a distance of up to 3.5-5 km, "Lyutyi" kamikaze drones - 3.5-2.5 km.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia will produce about 20 SJ-100 aircraft with PD-8 engines per year: the production start date has been announced.
