The Kalashnikov Concern presented the customer with fully functional mock-up samples of a combat module, a dual-band radar complex, and an automated workstation for the command post of the Krona short-range air defense missile system (SAM) for territorial air defense.
The Krona complex is designed to protect important state facilities from air attacks, as well as infrastructure facilities in cities and of particular importance; special cargo in their storage locations, structures on strategic communications.
The main targets of the complex are medium-class unmanned aerial vehicles. Krona is a complex of detection, control and automated mobile combat vehicles or stationary combat modules equipped with means of destruction, which are interconnected in a system. The means of destruction of the air defense system are 9M340 and 9M333 anti-aircraft guided missiles.
The experience of countering large and small unmanned aerial vehicles of the enemy led us to the idea of creating a new maneuverable and highly automated complex that is able to effectively resist even the most complex targets, including low-signature enemy drones and cruise missiles.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian SSJ-100 New airliner has started the flight part of certification tests.
