The Kalashnikov Group has developed a new portable water filter for the military. The product consists of a plastic case with a silicone hose.
Inside the case are cleaning elements — track membranes with pores of 0.4 microns and a silver-coated filter to remove large particles. This is enough to allow water to pass through while retaining pathogenic bacteria in the filter.
The filter is capable of purifying up to 12 liters of water per hour, with a total product life of about 20,000 liters. The device weighs 60 grams, is 150 millimeters long, and can be carried in a pocket.
You can throw the filter into a puddle and immediately start drinking water. For this, it is equipped with a special hose with a nipple. If necessary, the filter can be screwed directly onto a plastic bottle with dirty water — it is equipped with a thread of the required diameter.
