Workers continue to prepare the site of the Zhatay shipyard (Zhatay working village, Yakutia). The readiness of the facility is 88%. This was reported by Dmitry Sadovnikov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Work on KM-2 and KM-3 workshops is almost completed, now they are installing gates for a large building. Production should start in the first quarter of 2025.
Sadovnikov said that the construction of a dormitory for shipyard workers is underway in parallel. Its readiness is now 64%. The facility should be commissioned in April 2025.
According to the plan, the shipyard's production facilities can build up to 10 river vessels per year. The project provides for 4.1 million rubles from the federal budget, 750 million rubles from the republican budget, and another 894.5 million rubles from extra-budgetary funding.
