KamAZ management has announced the creation of a new plant. It will produce axles, according to the company's press service.
The enterprise will specialize in the machining of small-batch parts and the creation of front axles. It will also perform technological and auxiliary functions related to the production of axles.
Maxim Mineev will become the director of the new facility. Previously, he served as the head of the automobile plant. Dmitry Borodinov will take his place.
KamAZ is the largest manufacturer of heavy trucks in Russia. Its structure includes an automobile plant, an engine plant, a repair and tool plant, a foundry, and a forge.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that in 2025, KamAZ will produce 700 gas-powered tractors of the K5 generation.
