Kornet ATGM Crossed with Okhotnik Combat Module

The complex is controlled via cable or radio link

Russian military has developed a special remote-controlled fire module "Okhotnik" for the Kornet anti-tank missile system (ATGM). Footage of the novelty went viral on social networks.

Up to three anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) can be placed on the platform. The platform is controlled via cable or radio link.

The video shows the "Kornet" sending a 9M133FM-3 missile to the designated target, while the soldiers were at a safe distance from the system.

The 9M133FM-3 is designed to engage slow-moving subsonic aerial targets moving at speeds up to 250 m/s. It is equipped with contact and laser fuzes that allow the high-explosive warhead to be activated at a distance of up to 3 m from the target.

Main tactical and technical characteristics of the 9M133FM-3 missile:

  • Flight range — up to 10,000 m
  • Flight speed, maximum — 320 m/s
  • Weight with container — 33 kg
  • Container length — 1210 mm
