The United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of Rostec) will manufacture three more domestic high-power GTD-110M turbines. They are intended for the modernization of the Novocherkassk Power Plant.
UEC emphasized that the unique GTD-110M gas turbine has already demonstrated reliable operation as part of the Udarnaya TPP and steadily provides electricity to the south of the country.
The GTD-110M gas turbine is a fully domestic innovative engine for the domestic power industry in the high-power segment. Until recently, there was no alternative to imported machines in this class in our country. The power range of this equipment for electricity generation is from 2.5 to 118 MW.
Since its launch in 2024, the Udarnaya TPP has provided the Krasnodar Territory with more than 3.3 billion kWh of electricity. The total installed capacity of the power plant is 560 MW. Today, it is the most technically advanced combined cycle thermal power plant in Russia.
