All Russian BMP-2, BMP-2M "Berezhok", BMP-3, BMP-1AM "Basurmanin" infantry fighting vehicles and BTR-MDM "Rakushka-M" and BMD-4M airborne fighting vehicles are equipped with additional protection systems as standard. This was announced by the "High-Precision Systems" holding.
Each product is shipped with sets of signature reduction means — so-called "cloaks", or "blankets" made of synthetic heat-insulating and radio-absorbing material.
The company noted that additional protection means, including upper hemisphere protection kits or "anti-drone barbecues", have proven themselves in real combat conditions. The "cloaks" can be quickly installed and removed.
Separately, the BMP-3 and BMP-1AM "Basurmanin" are equipped with electronic warfare equipment, and the BMP-2 and BMP-2M "Berezhok" are equipped with an additional protection kit, an upper hemisphere protection kit, and radio jamming devices. "High-Precision Systems" emphasized that each BMP and BMD receives "cloaks" made of heat-insulating and radio-absorbing material.
