The multifunctional emergency rescue vessel \"Rescuer Karev\" (project MPSV07) helped remove the bulk carrier \"Meghna Princess\" from a shoal in the Gulf of Finland. This was reported by the press service of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC).
There were more than 30.3 thousand tons of cargo on board the bulk carrier, which was sailing under the flag of Bangladesh. The Maritime Rescue Service stated that no oil spills were detected in the area of the emergency rescue operation.

\"Rescuer Karev\" was built in 2013 at the Nevsky Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant of USC. The vessel has an unlimited navigation area and an enhanced ice class. It has been repeatedly used for icebreaker assistance.
