The Ministry of Industry and Trade no longer insists on replacing all imported components in the new Superjet 100 aircraft, also known as SSJ-New. This follows from the terms of the competition for research and development work (R&D) for the certification of this aircraft.
The department expects certification in 2025 in a "modification with maximum import substitution of components and systems" compared to the basic version of the aircraft.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade added that R&D is being organized to introduce more than 80% of import-substituted systems and components into the standard design of the aircraft, including a propulsion system, aircraft interior, and a complex of onboard radio-electronic equipment.
Work should also be carried out to expand the conditions and scope of operation of the aircraft, including improving operational characteristics, increasing reliability, as well as work on introducing new options and functions in accordance with the requirements of aircraft operators and authorities.
Superjet-100 is a regional passenger aircraft developed by the company "Civil Aircraft of Sukhoi." Currently, a fully import-substituted version of the SJ-100 with Russian PD-8 engines is being prepared.
