The Russian Zala Z-16 reconnaissance drone has begun to effectively counter anti-aircraft interceptor drones. Footage of combat work appeared on the Web.
A TV sensor with machine vision technology was installed on the rear hemisphere. The complex recognizes the enemy's FPV interceptor drone, after which the Z-16 automatically performs an evasive maneuver.
Zala Z-16 drones conduct reconnaissance of enemy targets and actions, and then provide target designation for detected objects to the headquarters of the Russian Armed Forces, after which it is distributed among the crews of the Su-34NVO with the selection of appropriate means of destruction — from Kh-38ML missiles to FAB-500T/M-62 aerial bombs, as well as artillery crews.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Atlant missile ship with the Vulkan installation and RBU-6000 rocket launchers entered the Barents Sea.
