A Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system crew intercepted another drone on the line of combat engagement. The Ministry of Defense released footage of the launch of a two-stage, 4.3-Mach guided anti-aircraft missile (SAM) 57E6.
The video shows an indicator displaying information about the radar situation with target tracks, accompanied by an S-band RLM SOC detection radar with a two-sided rotating passive phased array antenna (PESA).
Also shown is the acquisition for precise automatic tracking by the 1RS2 Shlem guidance radar, with a sector of view of about 90 degrees highlighted on the indicator.
Main characteristics of the Pantsir-S1 SAMG system, using the example of engaging an aircraft with an effective scattering area of 2 m² and a flight speed of 300 m/s:

- Gun armament range — 200-4000 m, altitude — 0-3000 m
- Number of simultaneously engaged targets — 4
- Maximum speed of engaged targets — 1000 m/s
