In the new update of the 2GIS service, users can now see the internal spaces of airports and train stations as 3D maps. It is easy to navigate large buildings thanks to detailed plans. They display check-in counters, escalators, elevators and other important elements.
The interiors are available for more than 60 large objects in Russia, including Domodedovo and Tolmachevo airports, as well as the Belorussky railway station in Moscow. Users can see passport control counters and boarding gates directly on the maps.
The 2GIS team plans to add 3D maps for shopping centers. They will feature shopping islands and recreation areas.
To see the interiors, simply select a building in 2GIS and zoom in — a floor-by-floor map with details will appear.
