2GIS launches 3D maps: you won't get lost in airports and shopping centers

A virtual tour of large buildings can now be taken in the mobile application

In the new update of the 2GIS service, users can now see the internal spaces of airports and train stations in the form of 3D maps. It is easy to navigate in large buildings thanks to detailed plans. They display check-in counters, escalators, elevators and other important elements.

The interiors are available for more than 60 large facilities in Russia, including Domodedovo and Tolmachevo airports, as well as the Belorussky railway station in Moscow. Users can see passport control counters and boarding gates directly on the maps.

The 2GIS team plans to add 3D maps for shopping centers. Shopping islands and recreation areas will be available on them.

To see the interior, simply select a building in 2GIS and zoom in - a floor-by-floor map with details will appear.
