A research center focused on the development and production of products for the automotive industry will appear on the territory of the "Idea" technopark in Kazan. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the "Rosnano" group.
A new research center will be created on the basis of the "Idea" technopark in Kazan, which will develop and produce products for the automotive industry: body and chassis components, power electronics for automotive equipment, as well as traction batteries for passenger and cargo electric vehicles.
Another important area of work will be the creation of a modern testing laboratory and a center that will develop the competencies of engineering and technical specialists in the field of automotive engineering.
Dmitry Tarasov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rosnano, emphasized that the group has unique skills in the field of electrochemistry, telematics and mathematical modeling.
Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia announced the abolition of the simplified technical regulations in the automotive industry, starting from January 1, 2025. The requirements that were in effect before the introduction of sanctions have been restored.
