A unique multi-shot flying drone shotgun with auto-targeting, called "Osoyed-D", has been developed in Russia. The system is designed to combat drones, said Alexey Chadaev, General Director of the SPC "Ushkuynik".
Now we also have a multi-shot flying drone shotgun with auto-targeting "Osoyed-D", which does not require highly qualified operator. The system independently finds the target after it is detected by ground detectors and independently reaches the engagement distance.
Chadaev added that a high-speed version of the complex will appear in the near future, from which no drone will be able to hide, including those on fiber-optic control.
Further is a matter of scaling and implementation. A wall of drones, you say? Ha!
The characteristics of "Osoyed-D" are currently unknown. In the presented frame, you can see that we are talking about a flying platform with four barrels. Presumably, they will be equipped with buckshot cartridges.
