An example of an equipped combat position of a Russian 2S5 "Hyacinth-S" self-propelled artillery gun (SPG) in a forest belt has appeared on the Web. The military operates from an underground sliding shelter.
The video shows that after receiving target designation, the soldiers slide open special flaps in front of the gun, which from the outside looks like an ordinary hill.
After firing, the "gates" in front of the gun close again, leaving the enemy wondering where exactly they were being fired from.
"Hyacinth-S" is one of the most effective, easy to maintain and operate 152-mm guns in the Russian army thanks to the high-precision "Krasnopol-D" shells.
Characteristics of the "Krasnopol-D" shell:
- Charge weight — 9 kg
- Warhead type — high-explosive fragmentation
- Target adjustment — "Malachite" complex, "Orlan-10" drone, satellite
- Navigation module — laser INS, GPS receiver for GLONASS correction
Earlier www1.ru reported that the ship "Kabardino-Balkaria" with the RBU-6000 rocket launcher and torpedoes destroyed targets in the Baltic.
