The Emperium shipbuilding enterprise (part of Sitronics Group) in the Leningrad Region is completing the construction of a series of eight electric vessels for Moscow.
Dmitry Yalov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Leningrad Region and Head of the Committee for Economic Development and Investment Activities, visited the shipbuilding enterprise in Otradnoye on February 25. The visit took place as part of preparations for the creation of the first shipbuilding industrial cluster in Russia.
During the visit, Yalov inspected the production site and spoke with the management of the plant. Currently, the company is completing the construction of a series of eight "Ecobus" electric vessels, which will soon be launched on routes along the Moscow River. Also in progress are "Moscow 2.0" cruise ships, intended for operation in St. Petersburg.
The cluster creation project aims to unite enterprises in the region to form an effective ecosystem for the shipbuilding industry. The Emperium plant will become a key participant in the cluster, bringing together component manufacturers.
