By 2029, a plant specializing in the production of climate chambers will be built in St. Petersburg. According to the press service of the city administration, the project with investments of 800 million rubles has been approved by the government of St. Petersburg.
The company «РЕОМ-ИТР» plans to implement the project. It has also applied for the status of a large-scale investment project.
A new high-tech production facility will appear in the Krasnogvardeysky district. Its products will be in demand in various fields: from the production of radio electronics and building materials to the pharmaceutical industry and the defense industry.
Investments will amount to almost 800 million rubles. This is enough to obtain the status of a large-scale investment project and a preferential lease for the site. This will be the third project with the status of a large-scale investment project in St. Petersburg.
In St. Petersburg, there is a special mechanism to support investors — the assignment of the status of a large-scale investment project (МАИП). This status opens the door to obtaining land plots without bidding, which allows for the quick and easy launch of an industrial enterprise.
During the design and construction period, the lease of the site will cost only 1 ruble per square meter. Investors willing to invest from 350 million to 2 billion rubles in production can obtain the status of a large-scale investment project. And if the amount of investment exceeds 2 billion rubles, the project can receive strategic status.
The climate chamber production plant will be the third project in St. Petersburg to be implemented under the program «Mechanisms for Supporting and Stimulating Investments».
In 2023, the first large-scale investment project status was assigned to the company «НПК Морсвязьавтоматика». By 2028, the company plans to build a plant for the production of laser machines.
Also in 2024, the government of St. Petersburg approved the targeted provision of a land plot to the company «Ситистройальянс». The investor intends to launch a plant for the production of doors and wooden finishing panels.
