Triada-TKO Company (part of the Kalashnikov arms concern) has begun shipping promising bulletproof helmets made of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene for military trials, the concern's press service reported.
The bulletproof helmet has a fragmentation resistance of V50% of at least 630 m/s and provides protection according to Br2 class with a weight and area comparable to the currently used general-purpose bulletproof helmet according to Br1 protection class.
Features of the bulletproof helmet:
- Partially protects the ears
- Allows the use of a headset
- The shroud is compatible with most brackets for observation devices
- Equipped with covers in the "Tsifra" coloring - EMR-M (green) and EMR-MP (desert)
