The ground forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran took into account the experience of the Russian Armed Forces and began to equip T-72S tanks and BMP-2 with "mangals" to protect against drones. Photos of the modernized armored vehicles were taken during the large-scale "Great Prophet-19" (Payambar-e Azam 19) exercises.
