«Akhmat» armored car to receive a new powerful 300 hp engine and change the chassis to «Mustang»

Production of the modification will start in 2025

The release of a new version of the «Akhmat» armored car with a more powerful engine will begin in 2025. This was announced by the General Director of the «Remdiesel» enterprise, Alexander Zakharov.

This year we will produce the «Akhmat» car in two versions. The first is an improved current version on a basic automobile chassis, and the new version is on the «Mustang» chassis.

Zakharov added that the car on the new chassis was developed taking into account the wishes of the military personnel, who needed a more dynamic armored car. The engine of the new car develops about 300 hp, while the standard «Akhmat» has 260.

In addition, both new versions have improved handling due to the reinforced suspension.
