Remote control system for the "Cornet" ATGM has passed tests

"High-Precision Systems" Holding presented the "Cornet" complex at the Abu Dhabi exhibition

A portable remote-controlled launcher for the "Cornet" anti-tank missile system (ATGM) has passed tests. The developers confirmed the stated technical characteristics. This was reported in the press service of the "High-Precision Systems" holding.

The launcher is designed for firing from the "Cornet-EM" ATGM in remote mode. The system detects and recognizes the target, and the operator uses a joystick to aim the launcher's aiming mark at it and fires.

"High-Precision Systems" is demonstrating for the first time a launcher with a remote control panel for the remote launcher of the "Cornet" ATGM at IDEX-2025 in Abu Dhabi.

The Rosoboronexport website presents the following characteristics of the "Cornet-E" ATGM:

  • control system — semi-automatic, laser beam guided
  • firing range — up to 5500 m during the day and up to 4500 m at night
  • Armor penetration — 1000-1200 mm
  • Missile caliber — 152 mm
  • Warhead type — cumulative tandem and high-explosive
  • Launcher weight — 26 kg
