A new development from Robotech, the SandMax 1200 3D printer, has been launched at the Kazan Federal University site in Naberezhnye Chelny. This was reported by the press service of the developing company.

SandMax 1200 offers new possibilities in the field of 3D printing thanks to its hopper system. It reduces material consumption and increases economic efficiency.

The optimal construction area is 1200×1040×800 mm. Printing a full hopper volume takes less than 9 hours, and the use of a second hopper ensures continuous operation 24/7.

I can say that SandMax 1200 is very easy to understand. The interface is intuitive, the control panel is as simple as possible, everything is in Russian, and the coordinates are displayed. If you compare it with software for 3D printers that print with plastic, where everything is very complex and confusing, then here everything is much simpler and more convenient.

One of the key innovations of the printer is a new sand preparation system that allows it to be used with increased humidity. This solution reduces the requirements for storage conditions of the расходный material, making the printing process more flexible and economically advantageous. A secondary sand collection system has also been introduced, which speeds up the extraction of finished products and automatically sends unused sand to the preparation system.

Using SandMax 1200 simplifies scientific research, allowing you to quickly and with minimal cost to manufacture prototypes of new products, test them, and make corrections to 3D models to create improved versions.
