Комплекс РЭБ с расширенным диапазоном и пятью антеннами разработали для российских танков

Each of the system's antennas covers its own frequency range

To combat drones, an electronic warfare (EW) system with an extended range has been installed on heavy armored vehicles of the Russian army since the end of 2024. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Main Armored Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Sergei Shaleny.

Tanks T-90S, T-80U and T-90A

According to him, each of the five antennas of the complex covers its own frequency range.

The system was developed in connection with the enemy's tendency to lower their drone control frequencies; now it will be even more difficult for them to escape the effects of our electronic warfare equipment.
Sergei Shaleny, Major General

At the same time, the general noted, it is necessary to improve their communication equipment so that the new complex does not "jam" them as well. In this regard, the new tanks have switched to using sixth-generation radio stations.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the unique Sarych-2 reconnaissance drone with its own protection against electronic warfare and an HD camera has been delivered to the military.
