Specialists of "Severstal Steel Solutions" have mastered a new technology for applying fire retardant coating to metal. After testing, they sent the first batch of metal structures to the Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant.
The coating is applied in compliance with a certain temperature regime. Each batch of fire-resistant metal is checked by the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees.
The consumption of fire retardant composition when applied using our own technology is only 25 kg per ton of metal, while competitors use 32.5 kg.
Metal with such coating can be used in the construction of industrial facilities in metallurgy, petrochemistry and the commercial sector.
