The crews of Su-33 and Su-30SM fighters from the shipborne fighter aviation regiment of the mixed aviation corps of the Northern Fleet conducted training flights in conditions of limited visibility. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
During the training flights, the crews of Su-33 and Su-30SM aircraft intercepted a non-maneuvering aerial target in the clouds.
The pilots also checked the navigation of the fighters in conditions of limited visibility, takeoff and landing on snow-covered airfields, as well as interaction with ground support services.
The pilots paid special attention to safety measures, which ensured the successful completion of the flight shift and minimized risks.
