VK announced the launch of a new monetization program for community owners with an audience of 1,000 to 100,000 subscribers. Participants in the "VK Original Authors Fund" program will receive a monthly payment of 30,000 rubles, provided they meet certain requirements. To become a participant in the program, you must publish a minimum of 2 clips and 12 posts per month; to maintain participation, you need 4 clips and 12 posts per period.
The annual volume of the fund, according to analysts, will be from 1 billion to 1.5 billion rubles. The terms of the program were recognized as reasonable by market participants. They believe that the stated amount of content will be sufficient for actively filling the platform.
A VK representative said that the program is designed for a year and requires that the author's total monthly income from other monetization programs does not exceed 100,000 rubles. Last year, the company also launched the "VK Video" program for authors with an audience of more than 5,000 people. This indicates a growing interest in content monetization on the platform.
