The "Stupor" drone countermeasures complex has been developed for the Russian military, and has already proven itself in protecting border facilities. Military analyst Evgeny Damantsev revealed the device of the new installation.
According to him, "Stupor" is represented by a radiating antenna post based on 5 phased array panels, a microwave generator, a frequency modulator, two radar stations (RLS) "Shtorm-V-5" and "Shtorm-V-10" with a detection range of large kamikaze UAVs of 5 and 10 km, respectively, as well as a passive radio frequency direction finder.
For more accurate direction finding and tracking of drones in a complex jamming environment, a turret multi-spectral optoelectronic module "Shkval-V-2" is used, the thermal imaging channel of which is capable of detecting an FPV drone of the "Baba Yaga" type at a distance of 2-2.5 km.
Experts have also developed and implemented a system for transmitting data about a target detected by the "Stupor" radar. The operator directly receives data on the coordinates, altitude, and flight speed of the tracked drone.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the latest Su-57E fighter jet may begin to be produced in India.
