The new Lada Iskra Sport model has received a domestically produced sequential gearbox. It was manufactured by TMS Motorsport from Togliatti, which has been producing cars, units and components since 1995.
The racing Iskra differs from the racing Vesta in its lower weight and dimensions, and from the racing Granta in the presence of a front subframe.
Iskra Sport received a 1.8-liter engine with 173 hp. The car is equipped with a hydraulic hand brake, rear brakes from Lada Vesta, a self-locking inter-wheel differential, special shock absorbers and stiff springs.
Production of Lada Iskra will begin in the first quarter of 2025, the model may occupy a niche between Granta and Vesta.
The car will receive 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engines with a capacity of 90 and 106 hp, a Chinese variator and a six-speed "mechanics", depending on the version.
