Ruselectronics Holding (part of Rostec) has fully fulfilled its contractual obligations for the supply of fire alarm systems for domestic Tu-214 and Il-114 aircraft, the state corporation's press service reported.
Fire alarm sensors are located in the engine compartments of aircraft. If the temperature exceeds a critical level, the main equipment unit sends a fire hazard signal to the automatic flight control system.
Based on this information, pilots decide on how to eliminate a possible source of ignition, as well as on the feasibility of continuing the flight. The shipped equipment will replace imported counterparts.
In the face of sanctions pressure, Ruselectronics guarantees not only regular supplies of domestic equipment, but also its maintenance.
