The State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) and the Gorky Central Design Bureau of River Fleet (NPO "GCCB Rechflota" LLC) signed a contract for the construction of 2 dredgers of project 2040. This was reported by the press service of GTLK.
The new dredgers will be delivered in 2027. The deal is being implemented as part of GTLK's investment project using NWF funds to update the Russian civil water fleet.
Multifunctional dredgers are being built according to the project of R-Fleet Group. The vessels of the auxiliary fleet are designed for dredging, cleaning water bodies, strengthening the coastline, and building bridges.
