Wind Turbine Express Design Program Created in Moscow Region

Console Application Developed in Dubna

A new software has been created at the University of Dubna to reduce the design time of wind turbines.

The use of a computer program allows for the rapid determination of the main aerodynamic, geometric, energy, and dynamic parameters of a wind turbine without the use of third-party software and lengthy, resource-intensive calculations of the aerodynamic flow around the wind wheel profiles.

The program is currently presented as a console application. In the future, the developers plan to refine it into a full-fledged Windows application. This will allow users to set and configure more parameters, save sets of specified parameters, and obtain intermediate calculation results.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the development of software for designing 28 Nm processors will begin in Russia by 2030.
