Russian military personnel have radically updated the famous "three-line rifle" — the Mosin-Nagant rifle. After the upgrade, it is almost impossible to tell that the soldiers are using a real "veteran" of combat operations, which entered service back in 1891.
The "three-line rifle" has been fitted with a new adjustable stock, a pistol grip, a modern Vortex optical sight, and a closed-type muzzle brake-compensator. The main elements of this kit are of Russian origin.
Thanks to the modernization, the Mosin-Nagant rifle is capable of effectively destroying enemy manpower at medium distances and is an ideal tool for training young soldiers.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that special units have been created in Russia to protect rear facilities from UAVs.
