In 2024, about 20,000 XCite brand cars rolled off the assembly line of the Avtozavod St. Petersburg plant. This was reported by the head of the enterprise, Ivan Mironov.
Over the year, dealers sold only 5,511 cars of this brand. About 96% of purchases were for the X-Cross 7 crossover — a total of 5,287 units. The remaining 224 cars are sales of the X-Cross 8 crossover.
The Avtozavod St. Petersburg plant produces two XCite models — the X-Cross 7 and X-Cross 8 crossovers. Sales of the X-Cross 7 started in May last year, and X-Cross 8 appeared at dealers in November.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that in 2024, the volume of government purchases of cars produced in Russia increased. The number of tenders for the purchase of domestic cars increased by 9% compared to the previous year.
