Specialists from the Central Research Institute of Machine Building Technology (NPO TsNIITMASH, part of the Rosatom State Corporation) are mastering the production of new components for the machine rooms of nuclear power plants (NPPs). This was reported by the corporation's press service.
TsNIITMASH purchased equipment and began producing:
- pre-treatment filter housings
- embedded parts for fastening turbines and condensers of power units
- closed-loop cooling systems
- ball cleaning systems
- containers and boxes
- water jet pumps
TsNIITMASH produces auxiliary equipment for nuclear power plant machine rooms for nuclear power plants under construction. The localization of production has increased from 40% to 95%.
The equipment purchased with FRP loan funds allowed us to form a unified technological chain for the production of blanks and non-standard products, manufacturing them according to the design documentation developed by our own forces.
