Владельцев зарубежных соцсетей призвали «делиться» в обмен на разблокировку ресурса на территории России

More than half of the stake will have to be sold to Russian investors

The State Duma proposed that the Ministry of Digital Development consider the possibility of lifting the ban on social networks banned in Russia, if more than half of their shares are sold to Russian investors.

Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Boris Chernyshov noted that such a step should be accompanied by a change in the internal policies of the platforms in relation to Russia, as well as compliance with national interests and legislation. He stated that international experience indicates the importance of controlling digital services to ensure information sovereignty at the national level.

The Vice-Speaker expressed the opinion that if these conditions are met, a revision of the status of blocked platforms would be justified.

Earlier www1.ru reported that a ban on social networks for children under 14 is being discussed in the State Duma.
