Fresh Footage Emerges of Combat Use of the Latest "Kub-2" Kamikaze Drone from "Kalashnikov"

Innovative drones are guided to targets using an optical system

New footage has emerged online showing objective control of the combat operation of the innovative Russian "Kub-2" strike drone with an optical guidance system from the "Kalashnikov" concern.

The modification of the "Kub" drone was developed several months ago, but the system could then only work with specified coordinates, which limited accuracy and increased the chance of a miss.

Now, domestic engineers have developed an optical guidance system for the "Kub-2", which ensures high accuracy.

The exact tactical and technical characteristics of the drone are currently unknown.

Earlier, www1.ru showed spectacular footage of a Leopard being hit by a fiber-optic drone: the German tank was reduced to a pile of scrap metal.
