Primorsky Krai manufacturers of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have begun to introduce advanced technologies. Drones are equipped with reinforced propellers and powerful engines. This was reported by the press service of the Government of Primorsky Krai.
Four companies in the region have launched industrial production of drones and components. UAVs have been successfully tested in real conditions.
The production of composite propellers with characteristics exceeding foreign analogues has been mastered. An unmanned aerial vehicle of aircraft type with an internal combustion engine has been developed.
One of the industrial enterprises in Primorye also produced the first electric motor for UAVs.
The region has developed a regional program for the development of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). The Government of Primorsky Krai provides support to UAS manufacturing enterprises — 50% of the costs of producing a pilot batch of drones are subsidized.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia launched the production of stratospheric drones for rescue operations and communications.
